We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder to join our growing team in Oak Brook, IL. This role is a great opportunity for individuals with experience ranging from recent graduates of welding programs or apprenticeships to seasoned professionals.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Join, cut, and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) according to blueprints and specifications.

  • Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for the materials and thickness being welded.

  • Ensure the quality of welds by performing visual inspections and adhering to established quality control procedures.

  • Clean and prepare weld surfaces prior to welding.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • May assist with other metalworking tasks such as grinding, drilling, and fitting.

Qualifications:

  • 0-any years of experience in welding or a related metalworking trade (e.g., metal fabrication).

  • A valid welding certificate (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of safe welding practices and adherence to OSHA regulations.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic welding symbols.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
