We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Plant Manager to join our growing team in Oak Brook, IL.  This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with 0-5 years of experience to take ownership of a vital role within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and personnel supervision.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, meet deadlines, and achieve budget targets.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a clean and productive work environment.

• Manage plant personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation

• Foster a positive and collaborative work culture

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and continuous improvement initiatives

• Liaise with other departments (e.g., engineering, sales) to ensure smooth production flow

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics

• Address and resolve production issues and equipment malfunctions

 

Qualifications:

• 0-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control methods

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Proven ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Working knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards (a plus)
