We are seeking a motivated CNC Programmer to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient and high-quality production of machined parts.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

Write, edit, and debug CNC programs for various machining centers (mills, lathes, etc.)

Utilize CAM software to translate engineering designs into machine instructions

Optimize program efficiency for cycle time reduction and production improvement

Verify program accuracy through simulation and test runs
-
Troubleshoot and resolve program errors and machining issues
-
Maintain accurate and organized program documentation

Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other team members

Qualifications:

0-5 years of experience in CNC programming or a related field (e.g., machining, manufacturing)

Working knowledge of G-code programming principles

Familiarity with CAM software (preferred)

Understanding of machining processes and terminology

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
